I Corinthians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
4:17 Then we which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
We are about to see the grandest event in the history of this earth. I hope you are getting ready. There are only a few months left to prepare. Soon Jesus will come in the clouds as He promised. Every eye will see Him. He will have ten thousand times ten thousand and thousands of thousands of angels with Him. He will have many crowns inside of crowns on His head, His feet will look like fire and so will His eyes. He will wear a very bright white kingly robe with the words: King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He will have a silver trumpet in His left hand and a harvesting tool called a sickle in his right hand. He will have white curly hair to his shoulders. He will have a rainbow above His head as is His insignia as seen in Revelation 10:1. The feet of Jesus will not touch the earth and He will never change His own 10 commandments that He rules heaven by as seen by John the Revelator in Rev. 11:19.
Have you watched lightning storms? It is amazing how far away you can see this. Jesus said that just like lightning shines brightly, so also all will see Jesus. The whole sky will be lighted up for everyone all over this earth at the same time. I imagine the angels surround the whole globe.

Mathew 24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

There will first appear a pretender Satan, who will pretend to come as Jesus but he will not be allowed to copy all of the prophecies about the REAL THING. Satan wants to keep on deceiving so He will dress up in white with the golden belt as Jesus is described in Revelation 4, but he is not allowed to have the rainbow, and all eyes can't see him at once, and his feet will touch the earth. WARNING! DANGER! DANGER! DANGER! The Bible says don't even to go to see him. He will have power over you and you don't want that.
Mathew 24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if [it were] possible, they shall deceive the very elect.
24:25 Behold, I have told you before.
24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, [he is] in the secret chambers; believe [it] not.
24:27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
He also will claim to have changed the 10 commandments. Don't be fooled. Watch for the REAL JESUS. These are the signals we are given so we can tell who is counterfeit and Who is the Real King Jesus:
"They will see Him then as heaven's King. Christ will come in His own glory, in the glory of His Father, and the glory of the holy angels. Ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands of angels, the beautiful and triumphant sons of God, possessing surpassing loveliness and glory, will escort Him on His way. Then shall He sit upon the throne of His glory, and before Him shall be gathered all nations. Then every eye shall see Him, and they also that pierced Him. In the place of a crown of thorns, He will wear a crown of glory,--a crown within a crown. In place of that old purple kingly robe, He will be clothed in raiment of whitest white, "so as no fuller on earth can white them." Mark 9:3. And on His vesture and on His thigh a name will be written, "King of kings, and Lord of lords." Rev. 19:16." Desire of Ages 739
This was the first vision of Ellen White. It is fabulous at describing this great event about to happen on our world. I used to read it every morning during my college days of training. My eyes kept focused on the most important things in life that way. I am sure you will enjoy this vision as I have. It is our ADVENT HOPE. Jesus will come. He will take those who love and obey Him home. Get ready my friends. If you need to read more about how to get ready, look at the pages called "What Must I do to be saved?" and "Will Jesus Accept me?"

THE DREAM

  Soon our eyes were drawn to the east, for a small black cloud had appeared, about half as large as a man's hand, which we all knew was the sign of the Son of man. We all in solemn silence gazed on the cloud as it drew nearer, and became lighter, glorious, and still more glorious, till it was a great white cloud. The bottom appeared like fire; a rainbow was over the cloud, while around it were ten thousand angels, singing a most lovely song; and upon it sat the Son of man. His hair was white and curly, and lay on His shoulders; and upon His head were many crowns. His feet had the appearance of fire; in His right hand was a sharp sickle; in His left, a silver trumpet. His eyes were a flame of fire, which searched His children through and through. Then all faces gathered paleness, and those that God had rejected gathered blackness. Then we all cried out: "Who shall be able to stand? Is my robe spotless?" Then the angels ceased to sing, and there was some time of awful silence, when Jesus spoke: "Those who have clean hands and pure hearts shall be able to stand; My grace is sufficient for you." At this our faces lighted up, and joy filled every heart. And the angels struck a note higher and sung again, while the cloud drew still nearer the earth. {CET 58.3}
  Then Jesus' silver trumpet sounded, as He descended on the cloud, wrapped in flames of fire. He gazed on the graves of the sleeping saints, then raised His eyes and hands to heaven, and cried, "Awake! awake! awake! ye that sleep in the dust, and arise." Then there was a mighty earthquake. The graves opened, and the dead came up clothed with immortality. The 144,000 shouted "Alleluia!" as they recognized their friends who had been torn from them by death, and in the same moment we were changed and caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air. {CET 59.1}
  We all entered the cloud together, and were seven days ascending to the sea of glass, when Jesus brought the crowns and with His own right hand placed them on our heads. He gave us harps of gold and palms of victory. Here on the sea of glass the 144,000 stood in a perfect square. Some of them had very bright crowns, others not so bright. Some crowns appeared heavy with stars, while others had but few. All were perfectly satisfied with their crowns. And they were all clothed with a glorious white mantle from their shoulders to their feet. Angels were all about us as we marched over the sea of glass to the gate of the city. Jesus raised His mighty, glorious arm, laid hold of the pearly gate, swung it back on its glittering hinges, and said to us, "You have washed your robes in My blood, stood stiffly for My truth; enter in." We all marched in and felt that we had a perfect right in the city. {CET 59.2}
Here we saw the tree of life and the throne of God. Out of the throne came a pure river of water, and on either side of the river was the tree of life. On one side of the river was a trunk of a tree, and a trunk on the other side of the river, both of pure, transparent gold. At first I thought I saw two trees. I looked again, and saw that they were united at the top in one tree. So it was the tree of life on either side of the river of life. Its branches bowed to the place where we stood, and the fruit was glorious; it looked like gold mixed with silver. {CET 60.1}
   We all went under the tree, and sat down to look at the glory of the place, when Brethren Fitch and Stockman, who had preached the gospel of the kingdom, and whom God had laid in the grave to save them, came up to us and asked us what we had passed through while they were sleeping. We tried to call up our greatest trials, but they looked so small compared with the far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory that surrounded us, that we could not speak them out, and we all cried out, "Alleluia! heaven is cheap enough!" and we touched our glorious harps and made heaven's arches ring. {CET 61.1}
  After I came out of vision, everything seemed changed; a gloom was spread over all that I beheld. Oh, how dark this world looked to me! I wept when I found myself here, and felt homesick. I had seen a better world, and it had spoiled this for me. {CET 61.2}
